Building on the successful model of the Clinton Global Initiative, which brings together world leaders to take action on global challenges, President Clinton launched the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) to engage the next generation of leaders on college campuses. Each year, CGI U hosts a meeting where students, youth organizations, topic experts, and celebrities come together to develop innovative solutions to pressing global challenges.

CGI U 2014 will take place at Arizona State University on March 21-23 (during Wesleyan’s Spring Break), and applications are now being accepted

Applicants who are chosen for CGI U will attend the meeting at no charge. Need-based travel assistance is also available to a limited number of students who apply before November 22. PCSE enrichment grants may provide an additional source of funding for Wesleyan students who attend this or other social change conferences.

If you are intrigued but not sure that CGI U is for you, chat with the PCSE Peer Advisors or stop by the Patricelli Center (Allbritton 021/022).
