This Week at the Career Center: Explo and ConnPIRG Information Sessions

Coming back from October Break can be a little jarring, since it begins to sink in that half the semester is over. It also means that application season is in full swing! The Wesleyan Career Center has the second half of your semester covered though. Check out some of these great events happening this week!

exploExplo Information Session: Exploration Summer Programs creates a dynamic environment of intellectual inquiry, responsible decision-making, and spirited adventure.  Led by enthusiastic and nurturing teachers, we encourage students to respect the differences that make us individuals and find the common ground that makes us a community.  At its heart, Exploration inspires students to challenge themselves, discover the world of people and ideas, and experience the joy of learning. US PIRG Information Session: U.S. PIRG, the federation of state Public Interest Research Groups (PIRGs), stands up to powerful special interests on behalf of the American public, working to win concrete results for our health and our wellbeing. With a strong network of researchers, advocates, organizers and students in state capitols across the country, we take on the special interests on issues, such as product safety, public health, political corruption, tax and budget reform and consumer protection, where these interests stand in the way of reform and progress (Thursday, October 24; 7:00-8:00p in Usdan 110)
