True Ventures TEC Summer Fellowship Program (applications due 1/31)

True Ventures, a San Francisco-based early stage venture capital firm, is currently accepting applications for its True Entrepreneur Corps (TEC) summer fellowship program. TEC brings 12 rising college juniors and seniors to the San Francisco Bay area to spend 10 weeks at an early stage technology company to learn firsthand what it’s like to work at a startup.

In addition to working for a True portfolio company, TEC Fellows participate in a weekly speaker series at True’s San Francisco office. Discussions with company founders, investors, and others from the True network give Fellows the chance to meet and learn from many of today’s most accomplished minds in technology.

TEC Fellows also conduct research during the summer to deepen their exposure to technology. Above and beyond providing a great opportunity to soak up lessons about startups and the entrepreneurial process, TEC is designed to help provide a great foundation for future startup pursuits. The short-term benefits are clear: in the past three years, more than a dozen Fellows have continued to work with their companies after the program’s conclusion. And, over the longer term, we’re confident that what you learn during TEC and the relationships you build here will pay dividends for many years to come.

The TEC program pays a stipend of $6,500 and its application deadline is January 31, 2014. For more information about TEC, please visit www.trueventures.com/TEC or email TEC@trueventures.com.
