Social Venture Institute / Hudson Valley

header triptycha weekend retreat for world-changing social entrepreneurs

May 13-15, 2016

Omega Institute | Rhinebeck, NY

SVI Hudson Valley is no ordinary experience: a weekend of profound problem solving, visioning and connecting, all in the inspired setting of one of the world’s premier educational retreat centers. SVI has offered a 20% discount the Wesleyan community of students, faculty, and alumni.

Think of it as an ad hoc advisory board. With depth.

For social entrepreneurs and innovative business-builders and nonprofit leaders, the dreamers and doers, the thinkers, the visionary world-changers, creators and catalysts…

It’s about injecting new life into your enterprise… and yourself.

Case Studies are the core of the SVI model, where the greatest learning happens. An entrepreneur presents a specific, strategic business challenge. A panel of “experts” and retreat participants alike offer advice. Each Case Study receives an hour of focused problem solving. Apply for one of two slots before April 17.

Harness collective intelligence in an inspired setting to actually work through creative solutions to vexing challenges.

The people and organizations behind SVI Hudson Valley are some of the original thinkers and doers of the social enterprise movement. It’s presented by Antidote CollectiveOn Belay Business Advisors and Re>Think Local in partnership with Omega Institute and Social Venture Network.

Scholarships and fellowships are available. From the scholarship applications, one person will be chosen to get a fully subsidized ticket in exchange for documenting their SVI experience and how they’ll use it going forward.
