Position Summary
The mobilization campus campaign coordinator (CCC), in partnership with other CCCs and full-time Teach For America staff, will strive to mobilize and unify communities on campus in the movement to address the issue of educational inequity. The mobilization CCC will work to develop and execute a detailed strategic plan aimed at building knowledge, conviction, and commitment to action around the issue of educational inequity and related issues of structural inequity on campus. This individual will be responsible for investing in the leadership development of underclassman through curriculum design and implementation as well as supporting and maximizing activist efforts of student organizations and faculty. Moreover, this individual will seek to build mutually beneficial relationships between community based organizations and campus constituents in an attempt to organize and collectivize around shared social justice initiatives.
In this position, the CCC will enhance their professional skills in planning, organizing, mobilizing, networking, and communicating effectively while gaining an understanding of how a successful nonprofit organization operates.

· Ideally is a rising sophomore and is interested in potentially staying in the role for two years.
· Has a demonstrated commitment social justice and is deeply invested in the issue of educational equity.
· This person:
o Builds relationships and networks.
o Must communicate effectively and inspire action through effecting beliefs and behaviors. This necessitates that they are a story-teller and are comfortable being vulnerable, passionate, and compelling when engaging others.
o This person can balance the need to be highly visible and external (both in terms of campus and geographical community members) with building deep and authentic relationships.
· This person is comfortable and enthusiastic about working with people across lines of difference.
· This person is interested in developing the leadership of others. S/he finds personal satisfaction in this and always prioritizes potential investments in individuals/groups.
· This person is a critical thinker, problem solver, and has a strong locus of control.
· This person is a self-starter, takes initiative on their own. This person is capable of executing on directions but truly shines when given the opportunity to define the “how” for themself.
