See “Nickel and Dimed” at the Greenhouse Theater!

In Chicago this summer? Come to Greenhouse Theater on August 9th at 8:00 p.m. to see “Nickel and Dimed,” directed by Dani Snyder-Young ’99. This play, based on Barbara Eihrenreich’s book of the same name, strives to open “up a productive conversation about social class by engaging audiences in the story of a journalist who attempts to earn a living as a waitress, a maid, and a retail worker, only to discover how truly difficult it is to make ends meet on working-class wages.” This play is a must see for anyone interested in social justice and civic engagement. This performance will be followed by an insider discussion with the cast and director. Learn more at and we hope to see you there!
