Today GatherWell announced the inaugural members of their network, including the Patricelli Center for Social Entrepreneurship at Wesleyan. We join a dozen other academic institutions, for-profits, media outlets, non-profits, social enterprises, faith-based organizations, start-ups, CBOs, and NGOs who are working to increase social impact and innovation. Network members may share resources, connect and collaborate on projects, and otherwise support each other’s efforts to promote social impact.
GatherWell, founded by Wesleyan alumna Cynthia Jaggi ’00, is “the think + do tank for practical idealists.” They are “cultivating millions of leaders for good who have the inner resilience and the entrepreneurial skill set to make change happen.” GatherWell’s programs include the Institute for Leadership & Wellbeing, Weekly Experiments, and more.
We look forward to being an active part of the GatherWell Network and exploring ways that this affiliation can help us support Wesleyan students and alumni who are working for social change.
