Connecting with ENGAGE!

SAMSUNGAs Drop/Add winds down, the school year begins in earnest. As your schedule falls in to place, find some time to connect with the Office of Community Service and the Patricelli Center for Social Entrepreneurship! Here is a rundown of where you can find us this week, and check back later this week for a schedule of information sessions for the OCS programs.

Community Engagement Fair: On Wednesday, September 11 from 11:30a-1:15p, come see us at the Community Engagement Fair on the Usdan Courtyard! Both the Office of Community Service and the Patricelli Center for Social Entrepreneurship will have tables, so be sure to drop by, get some information, and learn about how you can get involved. Community agencies and student groups will also be tabling so no matter whether you are looking for work-study or volunteer positions, you will be sure to find something that piques your interest! Patricelli Center for Social Entrepreneurship Open House: On Friday, September 13, the PCSE will be holding an open house from noon to 2p in Allbritton 021 & 22. Check out more details here!

Student Activities Fair: On Friday, September 13, many of our student groups will be attending the Student Activities Fair which takes place on the Usdan lawn from 2p-5p. Sign up to get news about information sessions, meeting times, and more!

I am the Civic Engagement Fellow for 2013-2014. While a student at Wesleyan I double majored in Psychology and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and completed a joint thesis during my senior year. I am interested in issues of social justice, mental health, media, and global welfare.
