Beman Triangle Excavation

Beman Triangle archaeological dig.Right in time for our CCP Anniversary Beman Triangle post, Professor Sarah Croucher and her team will be excavating behind 21 Vine Street this Saturday and Sunday. Visitors should feel free to stop by anytime between 1p and 4:30p on either day and those who would like to be more involved with the project are encouraged to contact Sarah Croucher at scroucher@wesleyan.edu.

For those who need a refresher on what the Beman Triangle is, head over to our post all about this incredible historical site. Professor Croucher’s team has found a range of exciting materials relating to everyday life from the 1860s through the early twentieth century, particularly pharmaceutical related artifacts. So if you would like to discover a bit of Middletown history, we would love to see you there!
