Amber Smith ’13 was awarded the 2013 Ella Grasso Leadership in Action Award

Amber Smith ’14, social entrepreneur and active member of the Patricelli Center community, was awarded the 2013 Ella Tambussi Grasso Leadership in Action Grant on November 6, 2013. Just a few days earlier, Amber launched her social venture, I AMputee. I AMputee is an online community for amputees and their families to establish relationships grounded in common experience. Soon, I AMputee will provide a platform for amputees to pair together to purchase gloves and shoes and split the cost.
