Wendy Black-Nasta, President of Middletown-based Artists for World Peace (AFWP), wrote to tell us about a two-week internship opportunity for students with econ/business and international travel interests during early-August 2014. The intern(s) will work with Wendy and local contacts on location in Tanzania to develop a strategic plan for ongoing community programs in the Kibosha-Umbwe, Onana village, which is 12 miles from Moshi. There is a strong potential for a continued role with AFWP upon return.

AFWP might be able to provide limited funding or travel accommodations for the right candidate. This could be an ideal opportunity for students traveling in Africa this summer or studying abroad in Tanzania in Fall 2014.
