Policy and Communications Assistant, The Alliance:  The Alliance, a nonprofit association engaged in advocacy for international educational and cultural exchange programs, seeks a qualified and motivated individual for an entry-level position that includes communications activities, legislative and policy research and writing, and organization-wide administrative operations. The principal functions of the position include: research and writing on policy issues and media coverage affecting international education and exchange; updating and creatively expanding content and uses of Alliance website, social media, and other public-facing communications; logistical support for Alliance meetings and conferences; and daily administrative functions, including finances and membership support. Approximately 25% of the position’s duties are administrative. (Washington D.C.)

Communications and Outreach Assistant, Democracy InternationalDemocracy International (DI) is seeking a Communications and Outreach Assistant who will be the primary individual supporting day-to-day communications and outreach efforts. The position requires an individual who will also think creatively about longer-term marketing initiatives and ways to develop DI’s brand among its partners, online, and within the DC-community. This position reports to the Director of Operations and Strategy, but will interact with other members of the management team, including DI Principals and Directors, on a regular basis. Match Support Specialist, Community-Based Mentoring; Big Sister AssociationBig Sister Association is seeking dynamic individuals to join our Community-Based Mentoring team. The Community-Based Mentoring program is a one-to-one mentoring program which matches girls, age 7-15, with adult women mentors. As a Big Sister staff member you will contribute to a mentor-rich community in which every girl has access to the individual nurturing, guidance and support she needs to become a confident, competent and caring adult. The Match Support Specialist provides case management support to match participants to ensure longer and stronger match relationships. The Specialist also conducts match introductions to launch new match relationships. (Location: Boston, MA)
