Shafique ’15 and Alam ’15 Honor Lives Lost in Peshawar School Attack with Project141

Project141

In response to the December 16th massacre at the Army Public School in Peshawar, Pakistan, Wesleyan students Neha Shafique ’15 and Syed Mansoor Alam ’15 have founded Project141, an organization that will help to provide medical and counseling services to families affected by the attack and to support education in the region. The goal is to establish 141 scholarships for post-primary education in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa through Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRS), a Pakistan-based NGO, and to cover the costs of mobile medical teams and physicians working in the Peshawar community.
