Exploring College Pathways – Call for Volunteers

Exploring College Pathways

A Program Sponsored by the Jewett Center for Community Partnerships

The Exploring College Pathways Program is a program designed to help high school juniors explore their interests in college. Wesleyan University stakeholders and community partners support the work of high school teachers and administrators as they bolster student knowledge of and preparation for the college admissions process. Participants will leave the program knowing more about the college admissions process, how to present themselves as an admissions candidate, and with a plan for applying and getting accepted to college. Read more about the program here.

This program is made possible through collaboration with a diversity of Wesleyan departments and student groups.
Volunteers are needed for student panels, leading discussion groups, and coaching on college essays.

Exploring College Pathways will take place on Wesleyan’s campus during five Saturday Sessions between February 23rd and May 4th. A number of workshops will also take place at respective high schools, with transportation provided.

Sign up for a role here, or email Rhea for more information: rdrozdenko@wesleyan.edu

All volunteers are asked to attend an Orientation Dinner on February 7th, from 5:30-7:00 pm in Allbritton 311.
