You are invited to join the Wesleyan community for the first Middletown Pride event on Saturday, June 15, 2019!
The City of Middletown, the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, and Wesleyan University are partnering together for this inaugural event.
Middletown Pride offers us all an opportunity to celebrate not only Wesleyan’s diverse community but also the lives and contributions of our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning residents in Middletown and beyond. The Pride parade begins at 2:00pm, followed by the Pride Festival on the Historic South Green. See the Middletown Pride events page to stay up to date on events from discussions to performances. Whether you are a student, faculty, staff, alum, family, or a friend, we welcome you to participate with us!
There are a number of ways you can get involved. Register to march in the Parade with the Wesleyan community by following this link. T-Shirts and flags will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis. If you’d like to volunteer for the event, please sign up by following this link.
We hope you’ll join us on June 15th for a day of celebration and community!
