Virtual Volunteering: Craft Kits for Kids with Chrysalis Center

Volunteer opportunity from Nancy Sherman of Chrysalis Center:

Recently, Chrysalis Center opened a new supportive housing site in the North End of Middletown, which provides case management services to six families residing in two apartment buildings. The program is set to expand very soon to include even more families.

Currently, there are 16 children of varying ages in the program. With the COVID-19 restrictions, children living in the apartments need activities that will allow them to have fun while being safe.

We are looking for individual students or a group to assemble craft kits for the children in this program. This virtual opportunity allows students to be creative in developing the kits, which should include everything necessary to complete a craft. Students may use holidays, seasons, etc. as a basis for the crafts.
