Exciting news! There are currently multiple job opportunities available to students. 

For federal work-study students, the JCCP and Oddfellows Playhouse are hiring. 

JCCP programs that need tutors:

The Oddfellow Playhouse Theater is a non-profit youth theater in Middletown that provides programming to students of all ages, ranging from classic plays to circus skills. Current open positions:

  • Teaching Assistants
    • Teen Circus class on Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm
    • Acting classes on Wednesdays, 4-6 pm
    • Traverse Square Dance Troupe Thursdays, 5:30-7:30 pm
  • Administrative Assistants
    • Weekdays 11am-4pm
  • Graphic Designer/Marketing Intern
    • Weekdays 11am-4pm
  • Technical Theater Assistant
    • Flexible hours
  • Costume Shop Manager
    • Flexible hours

Not eligible for federal work-study? No worries! You can volunteer for any of the positions above. Please note, only federal work-study students can get paid.

  • The Sustainability Office is hiring Eco Facilitators! EFs work to equip Wesleyan and the Middletown community with the tools, education, and resources to live a more sustainable, equitable, and safe life.   • The Wood Memorial Library and Museum is looking for a Per Diem Museum Educator who can teach people of all ages about Connecticut and New England’s history, particularly of New England Indigenous Peoples. To get involved, click here.
