The Jewett Center for Community Partnerships and the Center for Justice Innovation are excited to host the upcoming Re-Imagining Community Safety: Research in Practice Conference that will take place on April 13th (11:00am-4:00pm) at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. We are hoping that you can join us for this wonderful opportunity to network and explore points of collaboration with colleagues from across the tri-state region, while exploring the following related to “community safety”:

• What counts as evidence?
• How do we measure success?
• Whose voices are privileged as “researchers”, and why?

The conference will open with a welcome reception from 10:00-11:00AM, followed by opening remarks and then a panel discussion moderated by Khalilah Brown-Dean.  Following lunch there will be a Town Hall style conversation involving both panelists and audience members, moderated by Alexis Bivens and Babz Rawls-Ivy.
