2/26 Championing Immigrants’ Rights Event!

Wednesday, February 26th, The Allbritton Center for the Study of Public Life invites students, faculty, and the broader Middletown community to our upcoming event: Championing Immigrants’ Rights in the Trump Era. From 5:00 to 6:30 pm, join Kica Matos, President of the National Immigration Law Center, for her keynote address that explores the impacts of current ICE raids, immigration policy under a second Trump administration, and ways students can engage in advocacy efforts. She will also guide participants in Preparedness and Advocacy, a workshop designed to gain tools for effective activism during these daunting times. Doors open at 4:30 PM; invited student groups will be tabling to share their group’s information and resources. Dinner will be served. Click here to RSVP.
