This year, Better World by Design is focused on facilitating access by celebrating and supporting design processes and 
solutions that aim to craft a society that is inclusive. We hope to achieve this through a focus on collaboration and new mediums of translating ideas. By bridging the divides between people, communities, and resources, we aim to move closer to a practical utopia by designing for and from the perspectives of marginalized identities and spaces. The conference is held at Brown University and RISD.
