IDEX Accelerator is now recruiting for its 2014 cohort!

IDEX Accelerator (IDEX) is the pioneer of a global movement that revolutionizes investments in human capital and empowers emerging leaders around the world to unleash their potential for creating impact.

Since 2010, IDEX has served as an impact career launch-pad and human capital investor for over 150 fellows from over 16 countries. We believe that by investing in aspiring leaders today, while they are beginning to determine their future career path, we are planting seeds tomorrow’s future leaders. We are determined architects working to bridge the gap between young professionals and high impact careers

The core of our program is the IDEX formula: 6=2. Our program offers 6 months of intense emerging market field experience and leadership training that equips our fellows with two years of marketable experience. Our math was called crazy, nonsensical, unattainable, and well…just plain wrong. We thought so too until we discovered that our formula is powerful and effective.

Fellows begin their journey when they are carefully screened and matched with host organizations. They are placed in social enterprises
in the sub-sectors of food and agriculture, education, education technology, impact investing, information communication technology, clean energy, public policy and sanitation/water. In short, Fellows use their education and skills to address social and economic challenges for underserved populations.

The ideal candidate has:
– Bachelors or Masters degree (Bachelor degree must be obtained prior to June 1, 2014)
– A minimum of 1-3 years of work experience
– Track record of leadership responsibilities
-A passion and desire to work in emerging markets and use social enterprise principles to solve global issues
– An ability to quickly adapt and work in resource constrained environments
– Desire to engage in an intense professional development experience while applying creative solutions to deepen impact

To learn more, visit the program brochure. Deadline for this opportunity is January 15th, so get started now!
