Meet WesBuds – an OCS Student Group building community with Middlesex Transitional Academy

WesBuds is a student group made up of students who attend Middlesex Transition Academy (MTA), a school right on Wesleyan’s campus for students with intellectual or developmental disabilities aged 18-21 who are meeting their transitional goals after high school, and Wesleyan students. WesBuds meets monthly to socialize, play sports and games, and meet new friends. Their goal is to bridge the gap between Wesleyan and MTA.
While Wesleyan students have a long history of collaborating with MTA, this is the first year that WesBuds has joined the Office of Community Service cohort.

Please reach out to the student leaders Sela Adegbile ’22 sadegbile@wesleyan.edu and Destinee Castillo dcastillo@wesleyan.edu if you have an interest in joining.
