Vote in the reSET People’s Choice Awards!

resetThe reSET Social Enterprise Awards are rapidly approaching! Become a part of the reSET community through voting in the newest award category, the People’s Choice Award. Voting ends October 25th and the prize will be awarded on October 29th during reSET’s “A Taste of Social Enterprise” Awards Celebration. Three Wesleyan students will be attending as representatives: Alex Cantrell ‘14, Amber Smith ’14, and Katya Sapozhnina ’16. Featuring: Rob Stellar
Description: Designed to provide education software and services to increase student outcomes.

Thinkit Drinkit
Featuring: Wayne Gryk
Description: Thinkit Drinkit seeks to provie the most efficacious and best tasting functional beverages on the market that are personally designed by the customer.

Independent Media Network
Featuring: Lon Seidman
Description: Help local journalists get the support they need to run their own publications.

ElectroSpin University LLC
Featuring: David Rubin
Description: ElectroSpin University aims to harness the power of electronic music to inspire young people to become fit.

Good Streets
Featuring: Leslie Krumholz
Description: Connects neighborhood businesses with consumers in an online marketplace working to strengthen relationships with local businesses.

LOTUS Alliance
Featuring: Arati Sureddi
Description: LOTUS Alliance provides sustainable staffing solutions for the tourism industry while aiding the restoration of survivors of human trafficking.

REL Distributors and Yummy Connecticut
Featuring: Roger LaChance
Description: Roger LaChance wants to create a Mobile Market for locally grown goods. Think of it as a farmer’s market on wheels!

Description: Non-profit biotechnology company which focuses on solving unmet global healthcare needs.

I am the Civic Engagement Fellow for 2013-2014. While a student at Wesleyan I double majored in Psychology and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and completed a joint thesis during my senior year. I am interested in issues of social justice, mental health, media, and global welfare.
