Wesleyan is proud to be hosting the Fullbridge Internship Edge on campus during winter break as a part of the new Winter at Wesleyan program. From the program’s website:

Land the internship you deserve

Take our 12-day Internship Edge Program to gain a competitive edge in landing the internship and career you want. Build your confidence as you acquire the practical, real-world skills you need to get a coveted internship and stand out as an effective contributor from day one.

Learn how to effectively navigate the workplace

Employers tell us that the most effective interns and new hires are those who understand business context and how to successfully navigate the workplace. Fullbridge’s teaching method simulates the workplace through an integrated learning approach of personalized coaching, a world-class curriculum, team collaboration, and learning-by-doing.

Get noticed by employers from companies with global brands

The final day of the program is dedicated to networking with hiring managers, from various industries, including Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, and start-ups, who will give you an exclusive first-look for their coveted Summer 2014 internships.

Hiring mangers will:
  • Share what they look for in interns and new employees during a lunch panel
  • Guide you on mastering the art of interviewing and creating an effective resume
  • Evaluate your final presentation that showcases the skills you gained throughout the program

Along the way, three full days of the program are devoted to a professional development experience created in partnership with Tim Butler, Director of Career Development Programs at Harvard Business School. This career intensive will help you identify your passions and strengths, define your unique career vision and develop the path to make that vision a reality.

Gain a competitive edge.  Stand out from day one. The Fullbridge Internship Edge at Wesleyan University will help you land the internship you deserve.
