This semester’s annual blood drive is on Tuesday, October 3rd and Wednesday, October 4th from 11:45-5:45 in Beckham Hall.

Donors:

Anyone can either schedule an appointment online at the Red Cross website (with the code wesleyanu) or you can email Lauren Conte at lconte@wesleyan.edu. There are appointments scheduled every half hour from 11:45-5:15.

 

Volunteers:

They are looking for ~50 volunteers for the blood drive. Those who cannot donate for whatever reason are encouraged to help out! The job is pretty simple– for a 30 minutes, volunteers will either be helping out at the snack table (making sure snacks are out and that donors stay for 10-15 to eat something after their donation) or manning registration (checking ids and signing donors in). With all the tragedies and natural disasters that have been occurring everyday in the US, blood donations are constantly in need to save lives.
