Dismas House of Massachusetts, Inc., seeks a qualified Fellow to help coordinate resident and program activities at Dismas Family Farm, a transitional housing program for homeless, former prisoners located in Oakham, MA.

Middletown Commission on the Arts and Oddfellows Playhouse are hiring Summer Counselors for the Annual Children’s Circus of Middletown, from June 27 to August 8. Deadline March 11.

Wesleyan Individual Tutoring Program is accepting applications for tutors now! Tutors will get paired with a Middletown K-12 program, and work-study students can get paid.

WesReads and WesMath provides in-class assistance for reading and math in grades K-5 at local elementary schools. You can commit to as little as one session per week (30min-1 hour), or sign up for several shifts. Email wes.reads.math@gmail.com for more information.

AmeriCorps is accepting applications for their 2022-23 DIAL/SELF Program! DIAL/SELF is a paid program that places AmeriCorps members in local schools or nonprofits, where they build relationships with young people to support them in developing skills, connectedness, and confidence in their learning.

FoodCorps is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year. As a FoodCorps AmeriCorps service member, you’ll spend a year teaching kids about healthy food. Whether you teach virtually or in person, you’ll earn a stipend, a year’s worth of training and professional development.

Do you play an instrument or sing? The Musical Mentoring program is a collaboration with Oddfellows Playhouse that pairs individual Wesleyan students with a student aged 6-11. We teach 1-on-1 private lessons to kids to develop their musical skills, tailoring to fit individual interests and needs of different learners.

Macdonough Elementary School is urgently seeking adult recess duty volunteers and substitute teachers. Volunteering can be one time OR regular, and it can be as short as 20 minutes. Substitute teaching is a paid opportunity and would require fingerprinting.
