Frequenters of the ENGAGE Blog and the OCSĀ Lounge (Allbritton 318 – Come say hello!) are likely familiar with me, the Civic Engagement Fellow, and Shannon Nelson ’14, the Center for Prison Education Fellow. Our respective tenures at Wesleyan will come to a close this summer, and the Center for Community Partnerships is now seeking the next set of Fellows.
These one-year positions are open to anyone, although Wesleyan alumni are strongly preferred. Read the descriptions below, follow the links for information and applications, and contact us (scapron@wes and senelson@wes) with any questions. The review of applications will begin on April 1, 2015. We look forward to hearing from you!
Reporting to the Director of the Center for Community Partnerships, the Civic Engagement Fellow will work closely with staff and offices across campus, including the Allbritton Center for the Study of Public Life, the Patricelli Center for Social Entrepreneurship and the Service-Learning Center, to engage students and support faculty in civic engagement endeavors.

Reporting to the Center for Prison Education Program Manager and the Director of the Center for Community Partnerships, the Center for Prison Education (CPE) Fellow coordinates and oversees many aspects of the college program at the Cheshire and York Correctional Institutions while working in partnership with Cheshire and York Facilities.
